Voice from a volunteer in the South Team – Barbara Dixon interviewed by Kianne Rodrigues I was asked to interview Barbara, who is a Lead for the Children of the Eucharist & Young Missionaries of Mary (COTE&YMM), and also Membership Coordinator, for the World Apostolate of Fatima England and Wales, about her role as a Volunteer for the South team. Luckily for me, I had the pleasure of meeting her when she was at my Parish, Holy Rood Church here in the Diocese of Swindon for the Parish Visitation of the NPVS.

Remembering Keith Paver - WAF Member in the Diocese of Northampton We take this opportunity to send our condolences to family of Keith Paver, who sadly passed away this year. Keith attended our WAF AGM in 2022 as an observer as his wife, Fedilis, is our promoter for the Diocese of Northampton. The AGM is a time for us to interact, and to share our vision for the common goal of spreading the Message of Our Lady given when she appeared in Fatima to the three seers. The AGM sessions organised for promoters and members enrich us, and enable us to better understand the various programmes that WAF E&W promotes - but most importantly, it is a time for us to become more personally bonded, as we are usually only in contact via online communications.

by Kathleen Too Brothers and sisters First I would like to thank Patrick and Barbara and the WAF committee for organising such a wonderful AGM in such a beautiful location at the Franciscan Ladywell centre in Godalming, Surrey. Our Lady of Divine Motherhood here in Godalming is shown to be nursing baby Jesus, and in the same way our World Apostolate of Fatima is in need of tender loving care and nursing. We can but only do this with the help of Our Lady, divine food from heaven, listening to the Gospel, and through divine providence. Our WAF mission here in England and Wales is her mission. We heard talks from Donal Foley how the mission of WAF England and Wales is so important for her Immaculate Heart to triumph. Our Lady told us that we must repent, consecrate ourselves to her immaculate heart, make reparation on First Five Saturdays for the conversion of sinners but not only the conversion of sinners but the conversion of England because England is Mary’s Dowry and it brings the words we hear from Fatima closer to home to Walsingham. We heard of prophecies from St John Vianney and St Dominic Savio on the conversion of England for the triumph of God. ๏ปฟ

The Northern Fatima Pilgrim Virgin Statue visited St Mary's Church in Sunderland on Saturday 1 June 2024. After what seemed to be never-ending rain, wind, and cloudy weather leading up to the visitation and the relics of Saints Francisco and Jacinta Marto, the sun came out and added its warmth to a thoroughly enjoyable day of devotion to our Holy Mother of Fatima. Parish Priest Fr Christopher Hancock was delighted with the turnout and participation in the day's events. The day itself was made possible by the diligent organization of the Legion of Mary, who recently re-established the Legion in the parish. The day started with a Rosary for world peace, followed by the Fatima prayers, leading up to Holy Mass which was concelebrated by Fr Chris and assistant priest Fr Emmanuel. Bishop Seamus Cunningham was also on hand in the confessional throughout the morning service. The statue of Our Lady was crowned at the start of the Mass with a floral crown of blue and white flowers and presented to Fr Chris by Leroy Temojo Etonu, in what was an incredibly special moment for all the congregation. After Holy Mass, the statue was carried in a procession as a witness of faith from St Mary's church to Keel Square in the city centre of Sunderland. During the procession Marian songs were sung in what was truly a very moving experience for both the people in the procession and the onlookers from the local shops and cafes along the route. Some of them were taking photographs and looking in a quizzical way at the Statue and procession.

By Rev Fr Ghebreyesus Woldekidan, the Parish Priest of St Augustine of Canterbury, Harehills, Leeds. Some people consider Fatima and Lourdes only as historic sites. They are not. They are daily places of devotion and conversion. Millions of people from different nations and denominations visit these Holy places as pilgrims. They receive many graces and return to their homes healed.

First Saturday Devotions at Holy Rood, Swindon – Recap and Looking to the Future - by Priyanka Peixoto Our parish of Holy Rood, Swindon, is one of the largest parishes in Clifton Diocese. We have a multicultural congregation with people from different ethnic groups participating in the life of the parish. A significant proportion of the congregation are of Goan origin, which has a historic Portuguese connection. This probably explains why there exists a strong devotion to Our Lady of Fatima amongst the congregation. It was during the pandemic that First Saturday devotions commenced in our parish. Julia D’Sousa, who is now the WAF promoter for Holy Rood, along with the support of her family and several parishioners formed a prayer group that met online to pray for the parish and beyond, which included the First Saturday devotions. ๏ปฟ
