Remembering Keith Paver
Remembering Keith Paver - WAF Member in the Diocese of Northampton
We take this opportunity to send our condolences to family of Keith Paver, who sadly passed away this year. Keith attended our WAF AGM in 2022 as an observer as his wife, Fedilis, is our promoter for the Diocese of Northampton.
The AGM is a time for us to interact, and to share our vision for the common goal of spreading the Message of Our Lady given when she appeared in Fatima to the three seers. The AGM sessions organised for promoters and members enrich us, and enable us to better understand the various programmes that WAF E&W promotes - but most importantly, it is a time for us to become more personally bonded, as we are usually only in contact via online communications.
Getting to know Keith for the first time, as he shared his experiences, gave me a chance to talk about my experiences with WAF as well. I built up my confidence in talking to him as I would with anyone who wanted to know more about the Apostolate.
Although Keith came as an observer, he was drawn by the energy of everyone present, and the talks on the importance of the Rosary presented by Patrick Cunningham made him ask questions so as to understand more about Our Lady’s secret weapon. These sessions probably gave him the chance to contemplate on his role as a member as well.
It was a great joy for us to see Keith being invested in the brown scapular by Fr Cecil Rogerson (Spiritual Director of Birmingham Archdiocese). Fedilis told us she never expected him to take that step forward and she was delighted that he did!

It would have been lovely to see Keith at our AGM last year, but we understood he was not well by then. I hope this article will remind members of the wonderful opportunity of spending time with each other at the AGM and hope that more will come for this year's AGM in November. We never know do we. How precious time is...
On behalf of all of us who have met and known Keith, we offer our prayers to Our Blessed Mother to look after Keith as he rests in peace by her side. To his family, especially Fedilis, we are thinking of you.
