Fr Lawrence Lew spoke powerfully about the redemptive value of suffering. His talk was both inspiring and illuminating, reminding us that our sufferings, when united with Christ’s Passion, become a powerful form of sacrifice. As Fr Lawrence said: “Suffering without love is hell. Suffering with love is a sacrifice which transforms and unites us with Christ on the Cross.”
