Our Lady Of Fatima Visits St Ann's

"Our Lady has come home to her mother, St Ann."

The NPVS of Our Lady of Fàtima together with the Relics of Ss Francisco and Jacinta Marto visited the beautiful parish of St Ann, Kingston Hill on 30-31 May 2026.

Rev Fr James Raj, PP, welcomed, blessed and crowned the pilgrim statue. He also heard confessions, celebrated the masses, enrolled and invested the people with their brown scapulars, and shared his deep devotion to Our Lady and her role in his life and future.

There were many "firsts" as well:

  • the book table was outside by a massive tree providing all day shade and a chance for conversations and sharing of testimonies;
  • the Holy Rosary was recited and reflected upon in the beautifully lush green garden of the parish, with the tweeting of the birds (they must be praying as well);
  • Br Oliver Abasolo, Lead of the FFS programme for WAF E&W and a seminarian, gave the sharing/homily during the welcome mass as per the request of the PP;
  • the crowned NPVS and the Relics were processed again into the church on Sunday, which highlighted the significance of the presence of Our Lady in the parish.

It was truly a memorable first time for the parish of St Ann, Kingston Hill to host this visitation.

It is now hoped and prayed that the Five First Saturdays Devotion of Reparation will be established in this parish.
